What size am I suppose to order?
Take the guess work out of measuring with a soft measuring tape and a ruler and order a Sizing Kit to ensure you get the perfect fit for your comfort.
How long will my nails last?
Wear time depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application, your choice of adhesive, and your daily use. The key to longer wear time is prepping your nails with the supplies and directions that I have included. Avoiding long term exposure to water and manual labor will give best wear time. It is not unusual to pop gems, but take care when wearing your delicate art. Most importantly Nails are not tools.
With glue, your nails can last anywhere up to 2 weeks or longer! Never continue to wear nails that are lifting as it can become a source for bacteria to breed. Remove lifting nails, then clean and dry before reapplying nails. If you'd like to save and re-wear always wipe nail and press on down with alcohol and drill underside of the nail to remove all old glue.
ARE THE NAILS REUSABLE?
YES! All handmade nails are reusable. Because your nails are made with salon products, they are strong and durable and will even stand up to hairspray and sunscreen!
When removing from glue, use the included nail removal tool to soak, oil, and gently remove your nails. Once removed, you will want to softly file away any excessive glue from the underside so the next application will lie smoothly. You can also use a drill if you have one.
With proper care of your Custom Claws and Chaos set, you can wear and reuse multiple times! Keep your nails safe in your super fun holographic box.
HOW DO I APPLY MY NAILS?
Prep your nails with the items included in your Nail Prep Kit (included in orders with regular nail sets)
1: Clean and dry your hands and nails
2: Push back cuticles
3: Clip or file and shape natural nails
4: Use included alcohol wipes to dehydrate the nail beds
5: FIRST DRY FIT NAILS TO ENSURE PROPER FIT. Glue/ stick nails on one by one, pressing and holding for 15-30 seconds to ensure hold
6: Avoid water for the next hour

Substitute your favorite glue that works best with your body chemistry. If the glue from Claws and Chaos does not work please use one that you think works best.

Using a nail primer is useful to dehydrate the nail bed prior to application. Sally Beauty offers a variety of primers and nail adhesives. IBD is great for long wear.
HOW DO I REMOVE MY NAILS?
You can remove nails permanently by clipping, filing, & soaking in acetone. **your custom claws will NOT BE REUSABLE USING THIS METHOD. Acetone will disintegrate the nail complete and be gone for good. Use this method ONLY if you cannot remove during the soak method.
Removing & Reusing your Claws
Be patient and gentle when removing your claws so you can protect your natural nails, and preserve your enhancement claws!
It’s not recommended to attempt removing newly glued nails or nails glued with resin, acrylic, or gel. To remove nails, soak hands in warm water solution of soap and natural oil. Oil helps to break up the glue and heat will soften. Soak for a good 10-15 mins. Using the included Cuticle Stick tool, slide the pointy flat side around the edges of your nails, gently lifting the edges. You can apply oil to lifted areas to help with removal. NEVER PULL OR RIP your claws OFF. If you experience discomfort stop immediately and try soaking your hands longer, before trying again. It is important that you never force a nail off, as this can damage your natural nails/nail plate.
Once your claws are removed, put them back on the included adhesive strip, inside the Claws and Chaos box for later reuse! Collect and expand your nail wardrobe one set at a time! Mix and match to make it fun!
UH-OH! MY NAILS DON'T FIT! HELP!
No problem, if you ordered the wrong size or measured incorrectly, you can always buy a replacement for the ill fitting nails! Just message me and I will remake your missing nail. Please note that colors may change or fade over time, or I may be using a different batch than was used to create your nail.
I am not responsible if the wrong size is ordered. So, it is important to read shop policies, sizing information, and measure carefully before ordering. I also offer "Sizing Kit" sizing sample packs in shop to help you can find the perfect fit.
If the size is off on a nail or two I suggest purchasing a "Replacement Nail" option from the "add ons's" menu.
I BROKE A NAIL HELP!
If a nail has been broken I am more than happy to send replacements with a future order. Replacement nails sent on their own will require you to text me (508)509-3001 or email Clawsandchaos@icloud.com. I do not take nails back to be repaired. Nails will be completely remade at the cost of the client.
After 6-7 days wear and tear is normal dependent on a clients day to day life. Cleaning, bathing, work, typing, the list can certainly go on. Please be mindful again, nails are not tools. Should you feel that you are breaking too many nails consider a shorter length instead. Short nails are cute too!
No returns, exchanges, refunds are allowed. ( I can certainly discuss credits to an account under proper circumstances) All situations are different. I will not take back nails for repair, take nails back to reuse, etc. Please be mindful of time frame when sharing these instances with me.
